Lindsay has been a member of PSGB for nearly thirty years since completing her PhD at the University of Cambridge on personality in great apes.  She is the Editor of Primate Eye and founded the role of Education Officer for the Society, co-convening the new Education and Impact Subcommittee.

A Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, she has taught psychology and animal behaviour at the University of Chester since 1998, and supervises students in a variety of topics reflecting her research interests in primate behaviour, personality, laterality, social networks and mirror self-recognition.  

Lindsay also sits on the Education Committee of the Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour (ASAB). More information can be found on her university webpage.
