Dr Caroline Harcourt

After an undergraduate degree at Bristol University, Caroline did her MSc at Witwatersrand University and PhD at Cambridge University, both on galagos and in South Africa and Kenya, respectively.  

Caroline has worked on a variety of other primates including lemurs.  She authored the IUCN Red Data Book on lemurs and has contributed to a variety of popular and scientific books on conservation.  She has edited books on primates and tropical forests and has worked in an editorial role for Folia Primatologica and Journal of Human Evolution. She is a trustee of the Welsh Mountain Zoo.
