Dr Pawel Fedurek

Pawel joined Council as General Secretary in February 2024. 

His research has focused on vocal behaviour in non-human primates, particularly chimpanzees, and he has done extensive fieldwork on several communities of wild chimpanzees in Uganda. 

Pawel has also led research projects on chimpanzee conservation and human-wildlife conflict.
