Conservation Grant Submission
The Conservation Working Party administers the PSGB Conservation Grants. These are awards, typically not exceeding £1000, to assist research of benefit to primate conservation and primate conservation education. The remit is very broad and although the financial value of the grants is quite small it should be remembered that approval from the PSGB is invaluable when applying for money from other sources.
Candidates should not apply to more than one Working Party for funds for the same project or in any one year, but decide which best represents their chosen research topic. For further clarification please see the Guidance Notes (link below) and if unsure contact the relevant Convenor(s) for advice prior to submitting a proposal.
The grant deadline is 28 February each year and all PSGB members are eligible to apply, as are people from habitat countries who are sponsored by a PSGB member or who have contacted the convenor for advice.
All applications should be written in English and submitted online through this page. To ensure your application has been submitted correctly, please email the Convenor to say that you have applied online.
If you are unable to submit an application online, please contact Caroline Harcourt, the CWP Convenor, at cwp@psgb.org
