Primate Conservation:
Measuring and mitigating trade in primates

Meeting Rooms of the Zoological Society of London, Regent's Park, London NW1 4RY.

Topics include: bushmeat trade, traditional medicine trade, CITES implementation, roles of zoos and rescue centres in mitigating trade, genetics as a tool to monitor trade, alternative livelihood strategies, conservation education, reintroduction. Bill McGrew will present the Osman Hill Memorial Lecture

Ian Redmond will sign his new book, The Primate Family Tree

Contributions are welcome for a special volume of Endangered Species Research

Posters are welcome on all topics of interest to PSGB members (see below for details)

The meeting is being organized by Giuseppe Donati, Anna Nekaris, Vincent Nijman and Juliet Wright of Oxford Brookes University. They can be contacted regarding poster submission, and the edited volume.

Full member: £25
Student member: £15
Non-member: £40
Student non-member £25

Call for poster abstracts

Authors are invited to submit abstracts for poster presentations.
Poster abstract deadline: 15 November 2008
Presenters of posters on the selected topic are welcome to contribute to the edited volume.

Maximum size for posters is A0 (841 × 1189 mm).
Abstracts (250 words max) including title, authors and affiliations should be submitted to Giuseppe Donati (gdonati@brookes.ac.uk).
